Next week is French Week at Westmount.  Students will be participating in various activities to learn about French speaking countries in Africa. Les espions (spies) will be listening for children who are speaking in French around the school.  If they are spotted, the spy will give them a raffle  ticket.  Draws will be held at the end of each day.  In addtiion, African inspired art will be show cased and on Tuesday we will have the pleasure of welcoming KCI drumming group to inspire more excitement about French week.  Drumming and dancing are sure to bring on some fun!  On Thursday afternoon, students will have the chance to go around to various stations.  They will play numerous games and participate in a variety of  activities.  Of course, they will be asked to speak some French at each station.  Looking forward to a great French week!
