It’s that time of year again!

From Monday, April 15th to Thursday, April 18th, Westmount Public School with be celebrating French language and culture by learning about different French-speaking countries.  During our celebration, students will learn that French is an international language used around the world and not just in the classroom. Westmount Wildcats will have the pleasure of participating in numerous activities to learn more about the different countries whose official language is French.  Children will get the chance to learn about their flags, population and other interesting facts. They will also listen to music from these countries, play a French Bingo game, enjoy a presentation from a storyteller, and participate in a fun French Play Day. There will be many different events and activities throughout the week that will encourage and promote the use of French oral communication, and much more!
