Volunteers Needed – Outerwear Swap

We have set the date for our Outerwear Swap at Westmount for Thursday, October 27th from

3:20 – 5:30 pm. 

We are looking for volunteers to help out with this important event.  This year we will be accepting clean, gently used winter/cold weather clothing (coats, mitts, boots, shirts, jackets etc.) in good condition. The weather is starting to get quite cool, so the timing is great!

To ensure that this is a successful School Council run event, we need as many hands as possible! Please let us know if you are available to help out with this event. We will have many time slots available while we accept the clothing, sort it and prepare for the Swap. 

We will be accepting clothing during the following times: 

Friday, October 21st – 8:45am – 9:00am (for just 15 minutes right before the bell)   

3:20pm – 3:35pm (for just 15 minutes right after the bell)

 

Tuesday, October 25th – 8:45am – 9:00am (for just 15 minutes right before the bell)

3:20pm – 3:35pm (for just 15 minutes right after the bell)

 

 Wednesday, October 26th – 8:45am – 9:00am (for just 15 minutes right before the bell)

3:20 pm – 3:35pm  (for just 15 minutes right after the bell)

Clothing donations can be dropped off at the front of the school

Our Swap will be taking place on Thursday, October 27th from 3:20 – 5:30 pm

We will need help setting up for this event:

Thursday,  October 27th – 2:00pm – 3:20pm 

set up tables in the gym, sort clothing by size. 
Thursday,  October 27th –3:20 pm – 5:45 pm

assist during clothing swap, let families into the school at the controlled access door, cleanup tables, pack up clothes to be donated. There will be some heavy lifting to break down the tables and move them to their designated pick up location.
