Today we enjoyed getting together as a school community for our ROAR Assembly.

We focused on a number of topics including:

1.School Safety and using the Cross Guard and Crosswalk properly – A special welcome to Brenda our new Crossing Guard.

2. Our Growth Mindset focus for February: “My Brain Gets Stronger When I Embrace Challenges”

3. RESPECT – What it looks like, Sounds Like? and Feels Like?

4. WITS – A reminder that at Westmount we use our WITS – Walk Away, Ignore, Talk it Out and Seek Help

Finally we welcomed our newest Staff Member – PAT the WILDCAT to Westmount Public School – needless to say the students were more than excited to welcome PAT!!!
