DOES YOUR CHILD HAVE A VISION PROBLEM?
Dear Parents,
Did you know that 60% of children who have trouble reading and writing may have poor eyesight and
not know about it? Good eyesight plays a big role in how well your child will do at school.

But signs of poor eyesight are not always easily spotted. To make sure your chid’s vision is
normal, please consider getting their eyes tested by a Doctor of Optometry. There is no charge for
every child in Ontario who has an OHIP (Health Card) card up until age 19.
GET FREE GLASSES FROM THE EYE SEE… EYE LEARN® PROGRAM

If your child was born in 2009, he or she can get one free pair of glasses with their eye test, if
prescribed, through participating Doctors of Optometry. (Offer available until June 30, 2014.)
